Birthright
With steady and rehearsed fingers
I want to unlace the corset
of Christianity
one woman at a time
unbuckle the bible belt
and spank the uptight ass of abstinence
I do not suggest saving yourself
for your wedding night
with eternity
you will not be slipped a golden key
to the floating kingdom
as a prize for purity
for dim obedience
the palace to lust after
is the very dirt beneath your toes
we are all royalty
and to rule and govern our own lives
is our birthright
do not neglect your empire
for the shot at a castle on a cloud
no great reward hovers
in hidden sky
the treasure is existence
so spend it until you’re broke

I love the metaphors… especially in a time where overt Christianity is rewarded butches mainstream.
